"Barefoot and beguiling, mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kozena nonetheless inhabits her stipulated character fully. Her heartfelt “Have mercy, God!” with sweet-toned violin accompaniment was one of the highlights of the evening. So was her duet with the radiant soprano Camilla Tilling, who sings Bach’s soprano arias with impressive nuance."
